Theory of multinational imperial corporate state : the case of south Africa
The paper attempted to bring the role of the state in the center of the analysis, assuming as given the economic laws of necessity that have generated the contradictions between capitalist relations of production and distribution (the base), and the political straightjacket of the nation-state (the superstructure). It is necessary to say this in order not to create the impression that by bringing the state in the center of analysis, we therefore subscribe to the Hegelian notion of state as the and determining element, economics as determined by it.
